Menu Plan: September 28 – October 4

 

I forgot to post my menu plan last week and almost forgot again this week! We are getting into a busy season here, with school picking up, the start of Christmas shopping, baking season :), and (of course) illness.

The kids all have a cold. Some worse than others, but we’re on day 4 or 5 and they seem to be on the mend. What a rough couple of nights – coughing fits, runny noses, congestion.

Regardless of the busy times, I still needed to menu plan. Here’s what we’ve got for this week:

Breakfast

Baked Donuts, Fruit

Eggs, Sausage patties

Oatmeal, Toast

Pancakes, Fruit

Cinnamon Rolls, Bananas

English Muffin Sandwiches, Grapes

Leftovers, Fruit

Lunch

Tuna Salad Sandwiches, Fruit

Leftovers x 2

PB & Honey, fruit, yogurt x 2

Chicken and Biscuits w/Gravy

Dinner

Husband’s Delight, Homemade Bread

Roast, Potatoes, Carrots

Risotto, Salad, Corn

Brown Rice and Veggies w/Gravy, Carrot Sticks

Chicken Veggie Bake, Salad

Chicken Linguine, Bread, Corn

Quick Chicken Noodle Soup

Snacks

Chewy Granola Bars

Zucchini Snack Squares

Homemade to Make –

Veggie Broth

Chicken Broth

Bread – 2 loaves

English Muffins

Apple pie for church (and ended up making a second one to keep home!) 🙂
