Menu Plan: January 1 – 7

I am attempting to post this with a baby in my arms. 🙂 I tried working on revising our home school schedule/planner, but it was a little harder to move papers and binders around. So, I opted to put this post up for now.

We are adjusted to having 7 people’s needs to work around at dinner time, so I am happy to have a planned out menu for this week! Makes me feel a little more sane….which I don’t always feel during the day when 5 kids are whining or crying!


Pancakes, Fruit

Cereal or toast, Fruit

Scrambled Eggs, Fruit

Banana Bread or Coffee Cake (bit of both left in freezer), Fruit

Toast with toppings, Fruit

Egg and Bacon Sandwiches, Fruit

Oatmeal, Fruit


Leftovers x 3

PB & Honey/Jelly, Yogurt, Tortilla Chips

Chicken Nuggets, Carrots and Celery, Yogurt or Cottage Cheese

PB & Honey/Jelly, Fruit, Carrots

Tamales or Meatballs (little of both left in freezer), Fruit


BBQ Chili over Rice, Salad, Carrot Sticks

BLT Salad, Rice Pilaf, Carrots/Tomatoes/Cucumbers

Loaded Baked Tato Soup, Biscuits, Salad

Slow Cooker Lasagna, Green Beans, Corn

Beef Barley Soup, Biscuits/Rolls

Chicken Pot Pie Casserole

Gnocchi with Butter and Parmesan, Salad, Carrots


Brownies (homemade gift from someone at Arthur’s work…so delicious!)

Graham crackers w/Nutella

Cookies (homemade Oatmeal PB Chocolate Chip that I made)

Banana Bread

Christmas candy 🙂

Dry Cereal


You’ll notice I have a TON of sugary snacks on there this week. 🙂 I justify this by saying three of the items are homemade, so that makes them healthy, right? HAHA!
