With the new house chaos, these next few months are going to be packed with appointments and activities! I am falling behind on posting regularly, but I am ok with it because it’s due to having things to do and not just because I’m lazy. 🙂
This week’s menu was made up last minute. We will be at my in-laws’ and then my parents’ Saturday and Sunday, so I don’t have to find meals for those two days.
Here’s what I came up with for the week:
Cereal, Toast, Fruit
Coffee Cake, Fruit
Eggs, Bacon, Fruit
Leftover Coffee Cake, Fruit
Breakfast Cups, Fruit
Cinnamon Rolls, Fruit
Leftovers x 3, Carrot Sticks
PB & Honey x 2, Yogurt, Fruit, Carrot Sticks
Fried Eggs, Fruit, Yogurt, Carrot Sticks
Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Rolls
Couscous w/Chicken and Veggies, Rolls
Skillet Lasagna, Carrot Sticks
Brown Rice, Zucchini, Carrots
Veggie Spaghetti, Green Beans, Salads
This past Saturday, I tried to do all my baking for the week:
-24 rolls (which we ran out of in 2 days because we had company for dinner. Guess I’ll have to make more.) 🙂
-2 loaves of Honey Wheat Bread (by hand! haven’t done that in a while!)
-18 Granola Bars
-Peanut Butter Bars
I also made all of the baby’s food for the next 2 weeks (exhausting!).
Today I will work on rolls or breadsticks, as well as cookies and homemade peanut butter cups. Obviously, we love chocolate and peanut butter in our house! So, I try to fit those 2 items into our desserts and/or snacks as much as I can. I don’t keep track of how much chocolate or PB we eat because it’s all homemade and I know it’s still way healthier than store-bought snacks or desserts!
