The Return of MENU PLANNING!

After some serious soul searching :), I have finally jumped back on board the menu plan train. It’s so much easier when I plan it all out!!

Here’s what we have for February 15-21 (yes, this is posted a few days into the planned week. oops!):

Breakfast

Coffee Cake, cut up oranges and bananas

Leftover coffee cake (it makes a ton! we ate it for 2 days and still froze the other half of the pan!), grapefruit chunks

Cranberry Orange Bread, Shredded Wheat Cereal

Baked PB Oatmeal, apple slices

Eggs, Toast, pear slices

Cinnamon Rolls, Bananas

Toast with nutella or PB, orange slices

Lunch

PB Sandwiches

Leftovers x 4

PB & Honey Sandwiches

Tuna Salad Sandwiches

Dinner

Vegetable Barley Soup, Salad, Bread

Whole Grain Pasta with homemade tomato sauce, salad, bread

Savory Chicken Pie, Bread

Bean and Cheese Burritos, Salsa Rice, raw veggies

Cheesy Cream of Potato Soup, Salad, breadsticks

Lentils and Brown Rice, raw veggies

Chicken Lemon Rice Soup, Bread

Yes, that’s a lot of bread with dinner. 🙂 Oh well. It’s all homemade, so I’m ok with it.

Oh, and for homemade snacks this week, we have:

Trail Mix

Granola Bars

PB Cornflake Bars

Kale Chips (I wasn’t a huge fan, but Iris and Lily are LOVING them!)

Cranberry Orange Bread

And my only item I have listed to bake is 2 loaves of bread. I think I’m ok with everything else for make-ahead items. Looks like a semi-easy week for foods!

Happy Planning!
