I am a busy Mom. So busy, in fact, I couldn’t even post a picture including all 6 of us  because I haven’t had the time to get a picture of all 6!

My husband and I have four children – 3 girls and 1 boy. Our baby boy is missing from the photo above.

Each day is an adventure and a test of patience for us. I love to be home with my kids, bake, clean, and read…in that order, but usually only the first one or two of those actually happens! I post recipes I have found or created, as well as my attempts at weekly menu planning. I also enjoy saving money through the use of coupons and share links to good coupon deals (mostly in-store deals) and any outstanding savings I may have during the week.

My family/children posts are about my experiences as a new mom and (now) a seasoned mom. Four children under five years old was a challenge, but it’s the challenge we wanted. I love seeing my kids grow and learn. I adore their little voices, especially when they discover them. I enjoy taking care of my family. And I am so thankful to God for my five blessings and my journey through parenthood.

There are many, many more things for me to experience. I have learned many lessons so far…some I have had to re-learn several times. Regardless of what life brings us, we are a family that loves God, each other, and life!

UPDATE (February 2013): We have another addition to our family. A second little boy, born December 2012! I still don’t have a good picture of all of us. Maybe one day… 

I am still cooking and baking and cleaning and homeschooling. We are even busier than before, but we are loving our adventure!
